Background and Discussion:

R.R.P. Consulting Engineers, L.L.C. provides engineering design for HCTRA Heavy Maintenance project in Precinct 3, which contains engineering solutions to maintenance repairs. Additional funds are needed to ensure the engineers on record can continue to provide support with construction phase services of the project appropriately with engineers on record. This change will reduce County expenses by minimizing construction delays and ensuring safe, timely services for Harris County residents after the completion of the improvements covered by this contract, as the engineers on record will continue to deliver services.

 

Expected Impact:

This recommendation aligns with HCTRA’s strategic objective to manage engineering design of system improvements that will improve the safety and reliability of the HCTRA system.
