Background and Discussion:
In 2019, a Parks and Trails Analysis was conducted to evaluate current parks and trails systems throughout Precinct 2. The study provided recommendations on parks and trail improvements. Due to redistricting, Precinct 2 gained additional parks and trails that were not included as part of the 2019 analysis. Through this study update, the analysis included additional parks and trails, and a high-level assessment of trails near retention ponds.
Expected Impact:
With the approval of this study, Precinct 2 will have a clear strategy and prioritization for improvement for parks and trails throughout the Precinct.
Alternative Options:
Without approval of the analysis, the Precinct will lack the direction on the prioritization of park and trail improvements.
