Background and Discussion:
On May 16, 2023, Commissioners Court approved an award to Tyler Technologies, Inc. for an electronic citation system. The electronic citation system enables automated issuance of citations which:
• allows for a reduction in the time required for deputies to issue citations,
• increases the legibility of completed citation forms,
• reduces the administrative errors associated with processing, and
• captures electronic signatures and various images.
Expected Impact:
The second amendment updates the billing cycle from annual to monthly for the Customer Support Account Manager (CSAM) services.
