Background and Discussion:
The project consists of construction of Treaschwig Road Segment A Phase 1 project consists of reconstruction and widening of Treaschwig Road from a 2-lane asphalt to a 4-lane concrete roadway from 1000’ west of Aldine Westfield to west of Cypress Creek. Additionally, extend intersection improvements at Aldine Westfield by 500’ North and South of Treaschwig Road. Project will construct a wet bottom detention pond adjacent to Cypress Creek.
PCO #16 (RFI #44)
PCO #16 (RFI #44) includes revisions to the project scope related to the permanent relocation of the existing 12-inch waterline with 24-inch steel encasement, located east of the Treaschwig Road and Aldine Westfield Road intersection.
Based on revised plan sheets prepared by the Engineer of Record, the total cost for this work is $207,335.00, as reviewed and approved by Vogler & Spencer Engineering, Inc. on behalf of Timber Lane Utility District and concurred by Precinct 3.
Per Precinct request, the total cost for this relocation will be deducted from Line Item 231 - “2″ Thick Clay Liner in Detention Pond, reducing that line item by $207,335.00. As a result, the net value of Change Order #3 for PCO #16 is $1.00.
Expected Impact:
Perform waterline relocation per the revised plans on behalf of Timber Lane Utility.
