Background and Discussion:
This project involves the installation of an 8-inch sanitary sewer line located west of Main Street (Crosby Lynchburg Road), extending from Riverside Street to North Thorn Street. The scope of work includes trenchless (boring) and open-cut construction methods, installation of new sanitary manholes, removal and replacement of existing asphalt driveways, and all associated miscellaneous work required to successfully complete the project in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
This Change in Contract includes:
- PCO #1 / RFI #1 – A total of 13 additional calendar days has been added to the contract duration due to weather-related delays and unforeseen impacts caused by the property owner's delayed removal of a private fence obstructing access to the work area.
Expected Impact:
Adds 13 calendar days to the contract duration with no change in contract value. Accounts for weather delays and third-party obstruction (private fence). Adjusts completion dates accordingly and supports timely contract closeout.
Alternative Options:
