Background and Discussion: Texas Government Code 508.322, Release Restitution Fund, was amended by adding how restitution payments will be disbursed by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) through House Bill 3603 during the 88th Legislative Session.
Expected Impact: The purpose of this new bank account is due to transition and needed for fee/invoice payments to TSYS or current provider.
