Request for approval to decree that the Harris County Flood Control District project serves a public purpose and public necessity, which requires that the Harris County Real Property Division be directed to acquire one easement tract W167-04-05-01-003.0, for the public project known as HCFCD Maintenance, for the purpose of access and maintenance of pipe (Buffalo Bayou Watershed, Project ID W167-04-05-X003, Precinct 3).

Background and Discussion:
The purchase of a 100’ easement will allow the Flood Control District to place infrastructure and maintain their facilities without completing an agreement with Centerpoint Energy each time repairs are required in their easement.
Expected Impact:
This property will be used to provide more efficient access and maintenance of pipe connecting HCFCD channels W167-04-05 and W167-04-00.
