Background and Discussion:

With this donation, HCFMO will use the rail car as a training prop at the Harris County Fire and Sheriff’s Office Training Academy in Humble. The rail car is a pressured vessel used to transport propane. With this addition, HCFMO will be able to train Harris County and regional first responders in a controlled environment through simulated training evolutions on train derailments.
