Background and Discussion:
Execution of a new Interlocal Agreement for Gulf Coast Transit District as the previous contract with 1 year term plus 4 renewals expire August 22, 2026. Agreement is an Agency coordination of services for Harris County RIDES to provide service for older adults and individuals with disabilities and low income in the urbanized areas of City of Pearland. Agreement promotes regional coordination in transportation and elimination of duplication of services. Medical trips, work tripe and essential needs trips will be provided for eligible residents to remain independent with their communities. All services provided by the County are covered under the agreement with no cost to the county.
