Background and Discussion:

Public Health Services is seeking approval to create two new positions (Intake Coordinator) to aim Harris County’s efforts to enhance disease surveillance and reporting capabilities. The Intake Coordinator positions will allow us to manage disease reports more efficiently and accurately, ultimately contributing to better public health outcomes.

 

Expected Impact:

This item will have an annualized impact of $191,866. The increase in personnel expenses will be covered by existing grant funds.
