Background and Discussion:

 

Project includes General Civil On-Call Ramps and Paving Improvements.

 

Change includes reconciliation of actual quantities used in construction with the estimated quantities included for bidding purposes.

 

• Major reduced items include; remove existing concrete driveways, paving, sidewalks, curbs, ramps, median
   nosing, etc. (All thicknesses).

• Major increased items include; reinforced concrete pavement (6” depth), concrete sidewalk (4 ½ thickness)
   - less than or equal to 100 LF continuous, 6” thick reinforced concrete driveway with high early strength
   concrete (minimum bid - $150/SY)

• Repair of existing underground drainage box = $14,700.00

• Removing the broken wall at the bayou bridge = $6,300.00 • Build a 20 ft long by 3 ft high wall over the bridge
   = $15,600.00

• Work performed on the parapet wall on Louetta bridge = $7,900.00

• Concrete slab at the Meyer Park Water Tank = $58,727.00

 

Expected Impact:

 

Change allows unused funds to be returned to the Precinct and allow the Contractor to be compensated for the actual work completed on the project.
