Background and Discussion:
On April 11, 2025, Diana Ramirez notified Commissioners Court in writing of her plans to retire from the County effective April 30, 2025. County staff wishes to provide Commissioners Court the ability to discuss and take action on the transition to identify a replacement.
Such action may include:
§ Appointing a new County Administrator, who also serves as the County Budget Officer, on either an interim or permanent basis
§ Discussion, in Executive Session if appropriate, of potential candidates
§ Establishing a process to identify candidates for the position, including hiring a recruitment firm, establishing a job description, and defining terms of employment
