Background and Discussion:
Due to our COVID Workforce grant being closed, Public Health Services is seeking approval to transition two Intern positions in the Office of Epidemiology, Surveillance, and Emerging Diseases, to IDCU Epidemiology Expansion Capacity Grant (2601). This transition will allow us to hire two interns for Spring of 2025 to support different areas of our Office.
Expected Impact:
This item will have an impact of an additional $84,828 in FY25. The increase in personnel expenses will be covered by existing special revenue funds.
