Background and Discussion:
The scope of this project includes drainage system repairs with major emphasis on earthwork, including but not limited to erosion repair, slope failure repair, removal and disposal of sediment accumulations, granular fill and riprap installation, pipe removal and replacement, outfall structure removal and replacement and related items for the following channels:
• C106-00-00-X022 - Whispering Creek Dr. downstream to Forest Oaks Blvd.
• C106-00-00-X030 - Ahrens St to Forest Oaks Blvd.
Expected Impact:
The objectives of this project include the implementation of proposed construction activity as depicted and specified in the Construction Documents to restore channel functionality by repairing the longitudinal and cross-sectional geometry of the channels.
Alternative Options:
Do not proceed with the project. The channel conditions will continue to deteriorate causing impacts downstream and to adjacent property.
