Request for approval of a new interlocal agreement with the City of Deer Park to construct and maintain a public hike and bike trail along HCFCD Unit B112-02-00, with a combined trail length of approximately 1,500 linear feet. (Armand Bayou Watershed, Agreement No. 1539)
Expected Impact:
By entering into a hike and bike agreement with the City of Deer Park, it will allow the City of Deer Park to construct sidewalks and features for the enjoyment of the community. It also reduces maintenance responsibilities for the District as the City of Deer Park will be responsible for the vegetation management in the agreement area.
Alternative Options:
If this interlocal agreement is not executed, the City of Deer Park will not be able to construct the proposed trail for use by the public.
