Background and Discussion:  This service will provide support for infrastructure maintenance work that will be executed as a result of the passage of the “Maintenance Matters” Proposition in November 2024. Maintenance of Wetland Habitat and Other Sensitive Areas for the Harris County Flood Control District is necessary for the long-term success of these areas.

Expected Impact: Awarding this contract will allow the District to continue the services needed for the long-term success of these Sensitive Habitat areas.

Alternative Options: Not awarding the contract would require the hiring of additional personal and purchase of equipment to fulfill these maintenance needs.
