Background and Discussion: The Inwood Stormwater Detention Basin is a joint project between the Flood Control District and the City of  Houston to build 12 interconnecting storm water detention basins on the City of Houston property formerly known as the Inwood Forest Golf Course.  This amendment will allow the construction phase management to continue through project completion.

Expected Impact: This amendment is needed to continue construction of the basins which will ultimately provide 1,274 acre-feet of detention volume which will be equally shared by the City and the Flood Control District to provide flood mitigation and general flood damage reduction benefits to Harris County residents.
