Background and Discussion:

Currently, no sidewalks exist south of Aldine Mail Route, exposing anyone walking to these campuses to high-speed, unprotected vehicular traffic. The project will create a safer walking route for both students and teachers while extending the existing sidewalks on Aldine Mail Route into the area east of Keith Weiss Park and the East Aldine Town Center.
