Background and Discussion:
Edgewater Park is a park project which will bring features and amenities to the park that include a boat ramp, parking lots, access roads, prefabricated restrooms with six stalls each, a playground, hike and bike trails throughout the park, detention ponds, a pedestrian bridge over a wetland pond, and a fishing pier.
Expected Impact:
Approval of the service outlet location statement will allow CenterPoint Energy to establish electrical service to Edgewater Park, which is needed to enhance the operations of the park.
Alternative Options:
If the SOLS is not approved, no power will be provided to the park which will impact the day-to-day operations of the park and increase delay of construction.
