Background and Discussion:
On 8/6/2024, the Office of the County Engineer obtained approval to negotiate with Lake Flato Architects for Professional Architecture and Engineering Services for the Memorial Park Project. The project includes programming and conceptual designs for a new community center and upgraded aquatic center. After this programming phase, the Architect will proceed with Design and Construction phase services.
Expected Impact:
This agreement will allow the firm to conduct the necessary programming and conceptual design for the design and construction of the Memorial Park Community Center and Aquatics Center.
Alternative Options:
If the agreement is not approved, there will be a delay in project delivery.
