Background and Discussion:
The existing facilities have significant ADA compliance issues, Air Circulation issues, and are not resilient and have issues with freezes. Ultimately the Precinct would like the buildings to have HVAC, resilient plumbing, and all ADA issues remedied for all facilities.
Expected Impact:
Approval of the service outlet location statement will allow CenterPoint Energy to establish electrical service to Southwell Park, which is needed to enhance the operations of the park.
Alternative Options:
If the SOLS is not approved, no power will be provided to the park which will impact the day-to-day operations of the park and increase delay of construction.
