Background and Discussion:
The project consists of rehabilitating various asphalt and concrete roadways located within the Hardy/Aldine area of Harris County Precinct 2. The work includes milling and overlaying existing asphalt pavement, performing required base repairs, and applying prime coat, tack coat, and dense-graded surface overlays across the full roadway width. The project also includes full-depth concrete pavement repairs, restoration of a smooth riding surface, and installation of new pavement striping.
This final change order is for a deduction of the final adjustment in the amount of $541,059.22 and includes quantity adjustments of existing items for final values.
Final Adjustment is the reconciliation of actual quantities used in construction against the bid quantities.
The final change in contract includes the following:

Expected Impact:
The final change adds zero days to the contract and allows the contractor to be paid the final estimates, including retainage, while returning the unused funds to the precinct.
