Background and Discussion:

Commissioner Precinct 1 proposes to partner with Project Row Houses, a nonprofit Texas corporation, in support of community activities in observance of the 2024 Juneteenth holiday. Under the agreement, Precinct 1 will supply up to three busses, with necessary staff, to support historical tours of Harris County locations linked to the Juneteenth celebration. Participants will be students and seniors currently engaged in Precinct programs, as well as participants selected by Project Row Houses. The tours will be conducted on either Saturday, June 15th, or Tuesday, June 18th.
