Background and Discussion:
Harris County Peden Building is a complete renovation located at 600 North San Jacinto Street, modernization of three hydraulic passenger elevators and installation of new floodproofing. This change in contract entails items required for life safety per code, network requirements, and modifications to the elevators with 14 additional calendar days.
Expected Impact:
This change in contract will bring the project up to code compliance and will allow the completion of the project in accordance with the original intent of the project.
Alternative Options:
Should we decide not to move forward with this change order we will not be able to get our certificate of occupancy per code compliance.
