Background and Discussion:
This action will help fund after-school programming for children ages 7 to 12 who live near the Bayland, Steve Radack (“Radack”), and Richard and Meg Weekley (“Weekley”) Community Centers. These programs will strengthen, support, and sustain after-school and out-of-school programming in childcare desert areas, enabling youth to excel, explore, and expand their horizons during the academic school year at Harris County Precinct 4 Community Centers.
