Background and Discussion:

Harris County currently leases space from Humble Complex, LLC, a Texas Limited Liability Company, for the operation of the Public Health Services Women, Infants, and Children’s (WIC) Clinic. The existing Lease Agreement, along with the First and Second Amendments, has provided space essential to the delivery of public health and nutrition services to women, infants, and children in the community.  A Third Amendment to the Agreement is now required to continue the lease and ensure uninterrupted operation of WIC services at the current location. The original Lease Agreement, First Amendment, and Second Amendment are incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth word for word.

Expected Impact:

Approval of this amendment will ensure the continued operation of the Public Health Services WIC Clinic, allowing Harris County to maintain uninterrupted access to vital nutrition and health services for women, infants, and children in the community.
