Background and Discussion:
A countywide term contract was created to provide the Office of the County Engineer and the Precincts
with services to include new construction of On-Site Sewage Facilities and monthly maintenance and
operation of existing On-Site Sewage Facilities at various locations within Harris County. Request for approval
to extend a contract and to correct the vendor name from Two Sons Environmental Services (as approved) to
PUR-MC, INC. dba Two Sons Environmental Services (corrected) for New Construction and Maintenance of On-
Site Sewage Facilities at Various Locations and Related Items for the Office of the County Engineer. This project is bonded on a per project basis.
Expected Impact:
The Office of the County Engineer and each Precinct have the option to utilize this contract so that the
contractor can provide monthly maintenance to their On-Site Sewage Facilities to maintain compliance with
the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and with Harris County Permits.
Alternative Options:
The Office of the County Engineer and the Precincts will need to have specific Texas Commission
Environmental Quality certified personnel to maintain or install their own On-Site Sewage
Facilities.
