Background and Discussion:
Project includes general civil services including concrete and asphaltic repairs at various locations throughout Precinct 3. The change in contract is to include reconciliation of actual quantities used in construction with the estimated quantities included for bidding purposes. The terms of services in connection with the purchase order is being closed at the request of the Precinct. Final pay estimate is ready to be processed. There will be 45 days and $0 cost added to this contract. The substantial completion date for the project will be set for November 09, 2025. In accordance with Section 5.3 of the General Conditions, (1) time is of the essence, and (2) no delay damages will apply past the new substantial completion date. The Precinct has requested for new bid items to be added. The new bid item is only to establish the unit price and there is no change to the contract amount.
Change includes adding the following bid Items:
1- Item 121 - Additional Days (45 days) (PCO # 92)
2- Item 120 - Removal of Concrete wall (80LF X $30.00 = $2,400.00) (PCO # 91)
All missing in the current bid.
Expected Impact:
Change allows Contractor to complete the requested work orders within the Precinct 3 limits.
