Background and Discussion:

The Precinct 4 Operations Division, in partnership with Precinct4Forward, is launching the 2025 Joy 4 Toys Drive to support local families during the holiday season. Running throughout November, and with distribution events in December, the initiative aims to collect and deliver 500 toys to children across community and nature centers in the precinct. This focused effort builds on last year’s success and aligns with Precinct 4’s commitment to economic opportunity and community engagement.

Expected Impact:

The 2025 Joy 4 Toys Drive is expected to bring holiday cheer to 500 children across Precinct 4 by providing age-appropriate gifts to families facing economic challenges. With an estimated savings of up to $60 per household and emotional benefits like joy, comfort, and creativity for children, the initiative offers both practical and meaningful support. By focusing on local families and leveraging community partnerships, the drive aims to make a lasting impact on youth well-being and family stability during the holiday season.
