Background and Discussion:

This Agreement is for the consultant to prepare a technical memo regarding potential detention basin sites for flood risk reduction along the D140-04-00 channel and surrounding overbank area within Brays Bayou Watershed.

Expected Impact:

The project seeks to reduce flood risks and strengthen resiliency in the Brays Bayou watershed by mitigating the flooding issues in the D140-04-00 channel and surrounding overbank area.

Alternative Options:

The alternative to approving this item would be to not continue with the memo, which would result in flood risk remaining the same.
