Background and Discussion:
The project section of Lakes of Bridgewater Dr. is a 4-lane, median-divided concrete roadway without sidewalks on the east side of the road. This project will add sidewalk on the east side of the road.
Expected Impact:
Executing this agreement will allow the County to proceed with construction of Sidewalk along the project area. This will allow improved mobility for pedestrians.
Alternative Options:
The court may elect not to execute the Consent Agreement, and HCED can explore additional options. However, this decision may result in the project not being constructed as engineered, leading to potential project delays.
