Background and Discussion:
Based on the bid results, the recommendation of OCE and the design consultant, HR Green, Inc. it is recommended that the 2nd lowest responsive bidder, Hassell Construction Group, LLC, be awarded the contract.
Expected Impact:
Awarding the contract will allow the recommended bidder to proceed with constructing Hufsmith Kohrville 2-lane existing asphalt road to 4- lane concrete road with median, and storm sewer and storm sewer and roadway improvements on Boudreaux Road.

The alternative is not to award the contract. If no action is taken, the upgrades will not be constructed.
