Background and Discussion:
Installation of a new 10' trail on the north-side upper shelf along Buffalo Bayou (between Shepherd Dr and Bayou on the Bend Apartments), where the trail continues along the north side of the bayou past Left Bank Apartments, over the tributary to the south side of Asbury Street.
Expected Impact:
Provides equal access to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds with safe and inexpensive spaces for
outdoor recreation and modes of transportation.
Alternative Options:
The alternative option for this proposal would be to determine other funding or to complete these items in-house. Denial of the request will delay community benefits.
