Background and Discussion:
On November 7, 2023, the voters approved a $2.5 billion bonds for Harris Health facilities. The Hospital
District intends to issue new money bonds to finance the acquisition, construction, equipment, and/or
enlargement of the District facilities from the 2023 Election voted authority.
On May 13, 2025, the Hospital District issued new-money bonds not exceeding $850 million as part of the first tranche of the approved $2.5 billion in bonds for Harris Health facilities.
On June 2, 2026, the Hospital District issued new-money bonds not exceeding $850 million as part of the second tranche of the approved $2.5 billion in bonds for Harris Health facilities.
This transmittal includes Harris Health’s quarterly report reflecting data as of Q3 of fiscal year 2026. The report provides an update on the program’s progress and presents key data and milestones.
