Background and Discussion:

The scope of the Grant Agreement includes improving just under three miles of trail at Terry Hershey Park. The goal of the improvements will be to enhance and upgrade the space to maximize public engagement and impact on the community. The total project cost is $300,000. Harris County Precinct 4’s total match is $60,000.

Office of Commissioner, Precinct 4 requests approval for Harris County to accept the grant for Terry Hershey Trail Improvements in the amount of $240,000 for the purpose of improving the trail and increasing access to quality trails and recreational spaces in Harris County.
