Background and Discussion:
The County executed an agreement for Professional Engineering Services with Entech Civil Engineers, Inc. in 2015 and now seeks to amend the agreement for the eighth time. This amendment includes additional design services to conduct a traffic signal warrant analysis at the North Eldridge Parkway at Randy Rily Way intersection. Additionally, the amendment includes optional additional traffic engineering services to design a proposed traffic signal at the intersection.
Expected Impact:
This amendment will allow the firm to analyze the need for a traffic signal at the North Eldridge Parkway at Randy Rily Way intersection.
Alternative Options:
If the amendment is not executed, the current design would remain as is and not address the future needs of the intersection.
