Background and Discussion:
This request is for approval of an escrow agreement with JP Morgan Chase Bank for the Texas Water Development Board grant for the Cloverleaf Area Drainage Improvements Project (N100-00-00-E004) for the deposit of funds for the payment of sums due by the Flood Control District.
Expected Impact:
This agreement will provide funding assistance for the Carpenters Bayou through construction. The Flood Control District will utilize its resources and applicable consultants during the project, as well as the management of the grant approval process in compliance with Harris County statutes, applicable laws of the state of Texas, and policy regarding federal grant awards.
Alternative Options:
The alternative to approving this item would be not utilize these State Community Directed Funding allocation, which would result in need for a different funding source to pay for this project.
