Background and Discussion:
The MAVEN software platform provides comprehensive disease surveillance and outbreak management to integrate and coordinate timely information and analytic insights among collaborating epidemiologists, medical professionals, and public health departments. It is an automated and comprehensive solution that securely and efficiently tracks, manages, and reports on the health status of those exposed to communicable diseases.
Expected Impact:
The continued use of MAVEN enables state and local health agencies to collect required data and generate mandatory reporting to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to provide continuous and direct integration with the CDC during an outbreak crisis.
