Background and Discussion:

Project includes furnishing and/or delivering concrete paving, improvements and related items at various locations for Harris County Precinct 4. The Precinct has requested for the new bid items to be added for a drainage pipe removal and installation during concrete paving.

 

Change includes adding bid Item #121 to the current bid for concrete paving. The additional concrete paving service includes removing, replacing and adjusting a 4 inches drainage pipe through concrete curb which item is missing in the current bid items. The unit cost price is $55 each pipe per occurrence. 

 

The new bid item is only to establish the unit price and there is no change to the contract amount.

 

Expected Impact:

Change is to remove and install 4 inches drainage pipe without interrupting any operation.
