Background and Discussion:

This amendment will allow KCI Technologies, Inc. to continue to provide Tolling Engineering and Inspection Services for the upcoming tolling projects system-wide.  The Engineer will be responsible for design engineering, inspection services, and management of the Roadside Toll Collection System.  The Engineer will also be responsible for coordination and oversight of toll equipment design standards, assist with interfacing and coordinating with various toll system vendors, and provide field maintenance support and oversight on toll system and equipment.

 

While project was awarded prior to launch of the MWDBE program, KCI Technologies, Inc. subcontracts portions of the scope to MWDBE firms.

 

Expected Impact:

This amendment provides HCTRA the ability to maintain the system for the safe operation and longevity of the system.
