Justification & Alternatives:

A manned community dumpster ramp is being constructed at Kissing Tree, in the Louetta frontage parking lot. Fencing with gated access is critical to secure the site after hours and prevent illegal dumping of authorized and/or unauthorized items. At Burroughs, the parks and road and bridge material and equipment staging area was expanded. A pedestrian trail that previously cut directly though the camp was rerouted around the camp perimeter. This was done to ensure pedestrian safety, keeping heavy equipment separated from the public. The new camp boundaries within Burroughs Park need to be secured to prevent danger to pedestrians and trespassing after hours.
