Background and Discussion:

Project included the reconstruction of Schiel Road 2 - from West of Fairfield Place Drive to West of Mason Road. Reconstruction includes an upgrade of the roadway from a two-lane asphalt road with open ditches to a 4-lane concrete curb and gutter boulevard with a 32' raised median.

Change includes additional cost for the installation of sidewalk with retaining wall and impact of redesign at Bowdin Crest Drive. This change in contract also included adding additional time delays due to unforeseen field conditions. This change order is necessary to properly compensate contractor for the additional work and time required.
