Background and Discussion:
The annual biking event runs from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm on 10/18/2026. The $100 per person advanced fees benefit the Galveston Bay Foundation. Emily Demmeck is the Director of Special Events.
Expected Impact:
Expecting 400 guests. Setup begins at 7:00 am - 8:00 am on 10/18/2026 with breakdown by 5:00 pm on 10/18/2026. Property use will include Sylvan Beach Park parking lot, surrounding grass areas and the sidewalks. Signage will be posted on the park’s fence. Amplified music, trailers, portable toilets, catered food, drinks, tents and canopies will be present.
