Background and Discussion:
The proposed project is located at the Cypress Creek Watershed along the channel K100-00-00, just East of the intersection of Grant Road and Jones Road The recommended alternative from a Cypress Creek Program Implementation Plan (K100-00-00-P007), helps to mitigate overland sheet flow, overbank flooding, insufficient drainage capacity, overflows from neighboring catchments, and tailwater influence from Cypress Creek.

The project aims to reduce flood risks and strengthen resiliency in the Cypress Creek watershed by reducing the risk of flooding
