Background and Discussion:

In 2020, Clark Condon Associates prepared a Master Plan for Veterans Memorial Park.  Based on the design features selected by the Precinct from the Master Plan, the current design team is to provide programming, concept design and cost estimating services for Precinct 2 final selection of project scope for further development.

Expected Impact:

This award of this project will allow the firm to conduct the necessary community engagement, programming and schematic design for the development and construction of Phase 1 of the park.  This initial design phase will help transform the park into a community hub for social connection and interaction.

Alternative Options:

If no action is taken, the park will continue to be under-utilized.
