Background and Discussion:

The project involves the upgrade Spring Stuebner Road, from west of Leitner Way to State Highway 99, as a 4-lane concrete pavement section with improved drainage accommodations in a 100-foot right-of-way. A detention basin is required for mitigation. The geometry of a basin will follow HCFCD design criteria and have 4:1 or flatter side slopes. Property acquisition is required to construction detention basin.

Expected Impact:

The expected impact of the project includes improved traffic flow and reduced congestion, enhanced safety for drivers and pedestrians, and better stormwater management, which will mitigate flooding issues. Additionally, the upgrade will support regional development by providing a more reliable and efficient transportation corridor, ultimately enhancing connectivity, and boosting local economic growth.

Alternative Options:

If not approved, the road and drainage systems will remain unchanged.
