Background and Discussion:
(Data Analyst X 2) is required to provide additional support to the Data Analytics team to transform raw data into actionable insights that inform and guide business strategies by using a blend of analytical skills, business acumen, and technical expertise with a solid understanding of data management principles.
(Manager Engineering)- This position is required to supervise, coordinate, and manage a variety of engineering activities and personnel to identify, evaluate, manage, and rehabilitate various facilities and systems and provide technical guidance and training to technical staff within Commissioner Precinct One.
(Manager of Planning) position is required to assist the Development and Infrastructure division with the implementation of all planning project efforts and the five-year Capital Improvement Plan for Precinct One’s Road and Bridge subdivision, which includes prioritizing operational needs to maintain and operate the Road and Bridge subdivision.
Expected Impact:
The Data Analyst positions (times 2) will support the Data Analytics team by designing and implementing data collection processes to gather relevant information and ensure data accuracy and completeness. It will also analyze complex datasets, perform data cleansing and validation, and present data findings to stakeholders through the development of interactive dashboards that provide clear and actionable insights.
The Manager of Engineering position will assess current systems and oversee the modernization of outdated infrastructure, reducing operational risks and increasing reliability, in addition to promoting environmentally sustainable engineering solutions for physical infrastructure, including transportation systems, water management, or energy-efficient building projects.
The Manager of Planning position will develop and operationalize the Road & Bridge framework for maintenance and operations of infrastructures that feed as an input to the 5-year CIP program. The Manager of Planning will monitor quality control project efforts of staff and external consultants, conduct various planning studies keep an inventory of assets, and create improvement plans that feed scoped projects to the five-year CIP program of Precinct One.
