Background and Discussion:
The proposed adjustments will replace / relocate existing CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp facilities that conflict with the SH 225 / Sam Houston Tollway East Interchange Construction Project. The adjustment includes underground gas pipeline facilities.
After completion of the construction services, if the estimated cost is less than the estimated amount, CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp will refund or credit the difference. If actual cost of the construction services is more than the estimated cost, CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp will invoice the difference which would require a future Court action.
Expected Impact:
The Agreement allows CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp to expedite the underground gas line adjustments, minimizing the risk of construction delays for the project.
