Background and Discussion:

The Little Cypress Creek Channel Conveyance Improvements from Cypress Rosehill Road to Telge Road project consists of improving the existing K100-00-00 channel. The project is in the Little Cypress Creek watershed where many damaging events during heavy rainfall events have occurred, and the project will help increase the capacity and flow of the existing channel. The utility agreement will help provide for the safe removal of the electrical/power facilities currently in conflict with the proposed work and will allow for safer construction of the project.

Expected Impact:

Upon execution of the utility agreement, the existing facilities currently in conflict will be relocated, allowing for the safe construction of future improvements to Little Cypress Creek.

Alternative Options:

The alternative would be to not take any action, where the facilities will remain in conflict with future improvements.
