Background and Discussion:

The proposed agreement has never been requested or approved in the past.  Harris County Water Control and Improvement District (HCWCID) No. 96 has requested to mow cycles within appropriate parameters along HCFCD Unit P133-00-00 for a term of five years. The Flood Control District will reimburse HCWCID No. 96 at the same rate as we would pay our own contractors.

Expected Impact:

Mowing reimbursement agreements allow outside entities to mow an area more than three times a year.  The benefit to the Flood Control District is we receive less complaints about high grass within our rights-of-way at no additional cost to the Flood Control District.

Alternative Options:

The Flood Control District would only mow the area 3 times per year with our own contractors.
